Karuna Reiki was developed and named by the ICRT in early 1995.Karuna is a Sanskrit word used in Hinduism, Buddism and Jainism. .It translates to mean any action taken to diminishe the suffering of others and it is a compassionate action. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit. It is understood that Karuna is not only extended to others out of love but also because it is an entirely logical thing to do, It will heal your own wounds, and others. According to Buddist literature, Karuna must be accompanied by Pranja or Wisdom to have the right effect. Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened being working to end suffering on earth. They continually send unlimited amounts of healing energy and guidance to us .
Karuna Reiki opens to work more closely with all enlightened beings including those who are physically present and those in spirit. Class is for anyone who has had Reiki Master training and worked at the master level for one year. It is complete with Two levels, Two attunements. Four Master Symbols and Eight treatment symbols . Most Students find this system more powerful than Usui Reiki. The energy has a more definite feeling to it. It works on the emotional and spiritual levels .
This is an advanced class and is taught only to Reiki Masters. This healing system was developed by Wiiliam Lee Rand. It has been thoroughly tested and found to be very effective . A description of the four Karuna symbols is given here.
The First Symbol prepare the client to receive deep healing and is also useful with Past Life issues.
The Second Symbol heals deeply seated issues including unconscious patterns, child and sexual abuse. Shadow self issues and can release the cause of psychic and psychological attack . It also works with Karuna issues on a cellular level
The Third Symbol fills “ How to send attunements to others at a Distance" “Advance Reiki meditation that harmonized the energy of the Chakras”. Over half the class time is used for practice, so the student becomes confident in administering Reiki attunements. Students receives many attunements. The healing attunement is given and received by all the Students. This class is powerful healing experience. It can be used to heal relationships, stop bad habits and create good ones, heal addictions and develop compassion.
The Forth Symbol grounds the client by opening the lower chakras and strengthening ones connection to the earth. It also cleans the mind , creates determination and helps manifest goals. It can be used at the end of a session to integrate and complete the healing process. The Karuna 2nd symbols are of a higher vibration and more powerful than those of Karuna 1. They help directly with higher self and work on a deeper level, while they have specific purpose explained in class, The experience of their energy allows intuitive guidance in their use.
